The credits for the Godzilla sequel include multiple newspaper clippings and online article headlines that reveal the aftermath of Godzilla’s climactic battle with King Ghidorah and their impact on both the planet and humanity. In the Godzilla: King of the Monsters ending, a wounded Godzilla gets a much-needed recharge from Mothra. After a fiery transformation, Burning Godzilla charges into battle with King Ghidorah and eviscerates the three-headed monster with his atomic pulses....

Starting its seven-season run in 1985, The Golden Girls have given us their fair share of snarky comments and wholesome moments. Every episode seems to cause a commotion amongst the group to have everything be resolved with late-night cheesecake. The girls certainly do show their love and admiration for each other but they too have moral flaws that consistently cause problems with one another, and in real life, the makeup would require a good bit more than cheesecake to make amends....

The feature will allow users to tap a “cast” button from within music and radio apps on Android, iOS and the web to stream audio to Google Cast enabled speakers. Google announced support for a number of music services that will work with the new Google Cast for audio feature including Deezer, Google Play Music, iHeartRadio, NPR One, Pandora, Rdio, and TuneIn....

Nearly a month after the Apple Watch officially went on sale, gold Edition models have begun arriving for non-celebrity customers who placed the earliest online orders. As expected, the Apple Watch Edition’s white external packaging is nearly identical to the cardboard box for the stainless steel Apple Watch, save for the box noting the color of the 18-Karat gold casing and unique band on the side. Inside the box, however, the items are a bit different....

Until then, the Google Password Manager is starting to offer on-device encryption so that “only you can see your passwords.” Today, the Google Password Manager — found at passwords.google.com and inside Chrome — offers “standard password encryption” where: On-device encryption makes it so that “your passwords can only be unlocked on your device using your Google password or the screen lock for an eligible device,” like fingerprint, PIN, etc....

Google has redesigned its Google Drive application for iPad, and iPhone, and iPod touch to appear more in-line with the designs of the company’s other apps on iOS. The new design focuses on improved previewing of files, and it also includes improved management and sorting of files. In a lengthy Twitter thread, Google Europe ran through a list of measures it’s taking to automatically safeguard accounts, as well as measures users themselves can take to increase their privacy and security through freely available account features. First, the company made it clear that it is actively attempting to “look out for and disrupt disinfo campaigns, hacking, and financially motivated abuse” surrounding the conflict. This effort includes collaborations with other companies and “relevant government bodies” to address rising threats....

Ubisoft unveiled something a little different from its more traditional offerings at E3 2019. The company showcased upcoming action-adventure game Gods & Monsters, which comes from the minds behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and delivers an eye-catching, gorgeous art style. The game will be released February 25, 2020. Ahead of E3 2019, Ubisoft was unfortunate with a number of leaks. Some of these, such as Watch Dogs Legion, had a huge amount of detail shared about them, whereas others remained relatively secure....

R-rated superhero movies may be the hottest “new” thing in town now that Deadpool is ruling the box office, but there have been plenty of mature comic book adaptations that have paved the way over the years. Among the best known examples is 1994 cult hit The Crow, based on the comics by James O’Barr, which is currently in the process of getting a long-delayed big screen reboot. Google is rolling out a handful of new Maps features for the summer, but the highlight is a significant update to location sharing that lets you receive arrival and departure notifications. Google Maps is adding location-sharing notifications that can alert you when somebody has arrived or left a place. Once this feature is live, open their page in the app to start the set-up process. The alerts are for “every time” a person arrives/leaves, so it’s continuous....

Alexis Bledel always shares interesting stories when interviewed about her Gilmore Girls character Rory Gilmore. M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass has gotten an official Honest Trailer. The film opened in theaters earlier this year and served as a finale to Shyamalan’s so-called Eastrail 177 trilogy, which started with Unbreakable in 2000. A modest hit upon its release, the latter is now regarded as a clever predecessor to the late 2000s and aughts’ comic book superhero movie renaissance. Google today provided an update on its work with Exposure Notifications to help combat COVID-19. This includes improvements to the underlying API, adoption by US states, and user-facing tweaks since May. To start, “16 countries and regions across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America” have launched apps built on the Google-Apple standard. Canada just launched its application this morning. The new Google TV is the interface layer that runs on top of the actual OS powering the new Chromecast, Android TV. The Google TV skin has its own on-screen interface that you can navigate with the included voice remote control. The remote itself uses both IR and Bluetooth, has a power button and volume buttons for controlling the TV and sound system. Interestingly, the remote also has a dedicated Netflix button next to the YouTube button and Google Assistant....

As the name suggests the smartwatch OS is based on Android operating system, and from what Google has described, it doesn’t really do much that we haven’t already seen.
