On the web, Gmail has long noted how much storage you’re using at the bottom of the page. A “Storage used” indicator is now on Gmail for Android and iOS to save you from needing to open another app or website for space management. On the Gmail mobile apps, Google added a “Storage used” indicator in the account switcher that opens after tapping your profile avatar. It appears underneath “Manage your Google Account” — which was the previous method for quickly checking storage — and just above the list of other signed-in addresses....

The next God of War game is still a ways off but the wait won’t be nearly as long as expected. Before the soft reboot of the series, with PS4’s God of War, the last released game in the franchise was God of War: Ascension. Ascension, a prequel that received generally positive reviews, released in 2013. I’ve heard from several readers that this type of thing is happening to them even after installing minor cumulative updates, too. I’ve had this happen to me. NBC has renewed Good Girls for season 3. Created by Jenna Bans, the crime comedy drama series follows the trials and tribulations of three struggling Detroit women who successfully rob a supermarket. On March 3, Good Girls season 2 premiered. On Good Girls, Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman, and Retta star as the three titular characters. As Beth Boland, Hendricks portrays her first notable TV drama character since her 80-episode run as Joan Holloway on AMC’s Mad Men....

Director Paul Feig supports actress Leslie Jones’ recent comments about the new Ghostbusters reboot. Feig is known for directing comedies like Bridesmaids, The Heat, and Spy, but also directed the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot that featured an all-female team. Along with Jones, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon starred in the film. The original Ghostbusters was released in 1984 and was directed by Ivan Reitman. Google today announced the release of its Calendar app for iPad, which was previously only available for iPhone, Android smartphones and tablets and on the web. The iPad version of Calendar will be a familiar UI to anyone that has used the app for iPhone, and also borrows from some of the user interface elements Google has implemented with its tablet app for Android. Google notes, however, that the app has been specifically optimized for iPad, noting that you’ll be able to search from the iPad home screen using Spotlight Search with the app....

Hollywood studios have yet to successfully translate a Japanese anime and/or manga property to the big screen, as evidenced by the weak critical/commercial returns for movies like Dragonball: Evolution and Speed Racer in the past. Google today updated its Google+ client on iOS devices with the ability to use the service (and the app) with Google-hosted custom domains via the Google Apps service, the feature unveiled last week. In addition to the obligatory bug fixes and performance improvements, the new version also supports typing notifications and presence information in the built-in Messenger feature.
