Google is rolling out an update to its Keep note-taking app that brings new auto-created topics that group notes together for automatic organization and easy searching. Google notes that the feature will “automagically” create topics for things like places, books, travel, food and quotes. And you can use the new auto-create topics to search for all notes that might apply within the automatically created categories. When you hit the search bar, you’ll now find quick shortcuts to the new topics located next to other search filters for things like file type, people and colors....

New updates are now rolling for the Photos App. One of the new feature users are going to experience is the color pop feature. Google CEO Larry Page has been quiet since he stepped out of the spotlight last summer due to an unspecified voice problem, but in recent months, like in today’s Fortune, he is beginning to speak up again. Similar to Chrome, an update to the Google app for iOS today adds a new incognito mode that prevents search or browsing history from being saved. Other features include native playback of YouTube videos, improved iOS 10 compatibility, and performance improvements that reduce crash rates by 50%. The new incognito mode can be accessed by going into Settings and tapping “Turn on incognito” or by hard pressing with 3D Touch on the app’s icon from the homescreen....

M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass is setting itself up as an anti-Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the movie will explore the concept of expanded universes within the superhero genre, it appears to be turning Marvel’s tried-and-true formula on its head and wholly breaking away from its familiar norm. Eighteen years after the dark pseudo-superhero thriller Unbreakable, Glass will reunite the movie’s hero and villain (played by Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, respectively) as they find themselves crossing paths with Split’s Kevin Wendell Crumb (played by James McAvoy)....

Google announced today that Material You is coming to Gmail on the web in a redesign that also addresses complaints about the integrated view overhaul from earlier this year by introducing a “Gmail-only” view. Material You redesign This redesign primarily involves the default white background being replaced by a faint/light blue of which there are several shades. For example, the left navigation menu is slightly darker, while read emails are blue and unread ones remain white....

Last month, a report explained that Citigroup pulled out of its potential deal with Apple for the new Apple Card over profitability concerns. Apple ultimately partnered with Goldman Sachs for the card, and now a Goldman exec is defending the partnership despite profitability concerns. Speaking at the Business Insider Ignition Finance event today, Goldman’s head of consumer digital finance in its Marcus division, Omer Ismail, said the company isn’t worried Apple Card’s profitability....
