Connect both devices using an Ethernet cable- Passing the Ethernet cable from the WAN port of the Google Nest Wi-Fi to the LAN of the Centurylink, connect both of them.

Set up the network using the Google Wi-Fi app- On the Google Home app, create a new network by scanning the barcode and continue as instructed.

Rename or personalize your network- Renaming the network might be advisable for personal and security reasons. When intending to personalize the network, ensure you enter the username and password given at stages 4 and 5 correctly, then change to your name as wished and save changes.
