The second Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer comes out tomorrow, but what time will it release online? In 2014, Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla reboot became the impetus for Legendary and Warner Bros.’ MonsterVerse, a burgeoning shared universe that includes some of the most iconic monsters/kaijus in movie history. Beginning with Godzilla and expanding with Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Kong: Skull Island in 2017, the MonsterVerse is already off to a strong start - and it’s only going to get bigger from here on out.

Coming five years after Godzilla hit theaters in 2014, Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters aims to expand the MonsterVerse in several ways, not only introducing three new monsters - Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah - but also setting the stage for Adam Wingard’s highly anticipated 2020 movie, Godzilla vs Kong, which will bring the two flagship MonsterVerse characters together for an epic showdown on the big screen. But while audiences wait for that to happen, they will have plenty of monster-filled action to tide them over with Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

WB debuted the second Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer at CCXP in Brazil on Sunday, and the trailer is expected to release online Monday morning. However, since WB doesn’t appear to be tying Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ trailer release with a morning TV show, such as Good Morning America, or a late night talk show, it will most likely release around the same time the studio has released their previous trailers. So, the second Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer should release online at 9 am PST/12 pm EST/5 pm GMT.

In the lead up to the second Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer, WB and Legendary’s viral website, Monarch Sciences, has been teasing the MonsterVerse’s new monsters almost daily, with new Monarch Sightings on social media, new clips from the movie (including one featuring Rodan), and more. It’s been an active campaign so far, and it’s one that will only increase in activity now that the year is coming to an end. WB’s marketing campaign for Godzilla: King of the Monsters should start to ramp up in early 2019, seeing as it’s expected to be one of the studio’s biggest releases of the summer.

As for what to expect from the second Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer, footage descriptions from CCXP have indicated that viewers will see Millie Bobby Brown’s character calling for help (as was initially shown in a social media teaser ahead of Godzilla 2’s first trailer release at SDCC) along with Ken Watanabe’s signature line, “Let them fight.” Plus, it’s expected that viewers will get better glimpses at all four monsters in the movie, as well as possibly a look at them fighting. But we’ll just have to wait and see.
