Goat Simulator is a ridiculous, wacky and hilarious game where you get to run around and cause havoc as an invincible goat who can somehow ride bikes, climb ladders and use jetpacks. There are silly objectives to complete if you really want, but most of the fun to be had is in simply playing around.
It was developed by Coffee Stain Studios and released for PC in April 2014, with Double Eleven porting it over to Xbox platforms in April of 2015. We here at GameSkinny helped celebrate the game’s one-year birthday with a t-shirt design contest.
Goat Simulator has also been made available on Linux, iOS and Android. Mark South of Double Eleven posted on the PlayStation blog that thanks to a collaboration with Coffee Stain Studios, the game would be available for PS3 and PS4 on August 11th 2015.
The PlayStation version will feature everything we’ve seen in the game already, and will also be used to debut the latest feature: GoatVR. Precisely what this will involve is hard to tell from the blog post, but it promises to be “the most authentic “simulated GoatVR experience.
