Disney releases a first look inside the iconic Millennium Falcon as part of their new theme park Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The new attraction will bring Star Wars fans as close as possible to actually being in the galaxy far, far away created by legendary director George Lucas back in 1977 and continuing today with the franchise’s latest installment Star Wars: The Last Jedi . The attraction will open at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California in 2019.

For Star Wars fans, Galaxy’s Edge is going to be the ultimate experience for anyone who ever dreamed of stepping into shoes of iconic characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Rey. So far, we know that the park will include a Star Destroyer attraction that will put guests in the middle of a hangar bay during a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. There will also be a Millennium Falcon attraction that will allow fans to fly the famous ship, piloted by Han Solo and Chewbacca in the films, and the mission’s outcome will depend guest decisions. The park will also be a totally immersive experience for guests with a Star Wars themed resort that will pull fans into the world of Star Wars.

A new photo revealed on the Disney Parks official Twitter reveals a first look inside the Millennium Falcon attraction. The photo also includes the caption, “We’re home,” a memorable quote from Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens when he and Chewy are reunited with their beloved starship. Additionally, the post notes we will be learning more about the park and attraction on Saturday at Star Wars: Galactic Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here is a look at the tweet:

It’s exciting to be finally getting more information about Galaxy’s Edge so soon, especially considering The Last Jedi comes out in theaters this Friday, giving Star Wars fans an exciting weekend. We are also excited to see that the amount of work being put in to make the park look like it came straight out of one of the movies. The details shown above make the Falcon look worn, used and dinged up - exactly how the Falcon looks in the films that gives it the endearing quality we know and love.
