Genshin’s 1.4 update introduces Rosaria the nun as a new playable character. Rosaria is a four-star polearm wielder with Cryo as her Vision. She’ll have her own event Wish, but Genshin 1.4 also has two separate event Wishes. One offers another chance to obtain Venti and the other features Childe Tartaglia.
The 1.4 update event revolves around the Windblume Festival, Mondstadt’s spring celebration of love and freedom. The big draw is a set of three mini-games, including an archery game and a gliding game. These offer character and Talent Ascension materials as rewards.
There’s also Peculiar Wonderland, a new Domain that chooses three mini-games at random, then awards buffs for the Domain boss fight based on how players perform during the mini-games.
Genshin Impact 1.4 includes permanent features as well. One is a new story quest with Dainsleaf that miHoYo is still keeping quiet about.
The other is the brand-new feature called Hangout Events. Hangout Events offer a chance to spend time with specific characters through a series of conversations. 1.4 adds the first series of Hangout Events, and these involve Chongyun, Noelle, Barbara, and Bennett.
Answers chosen determine how the event unfolds, but once unlocked, Hangout Events are replayable. Finishing an event earns rewards, and seeing how each dialogue path plays out earns even more rewards.
Finally, Genshin Impact 1.4 adds a slew of quality of life improvements, such as raising the Condensed Resin cap and making crafting available in co-op play.
