After first rising to fame as the creator and lead actor of the original British version of The Office, Gervais ultimately went on to become a comedy star on both sides of the Atlantic. As proof of his stature in America, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in 2010 tapped Gervais to host the annual Golden Globes awards ceremony....

That’s exactly the purpose of Doob3D, a Germany-based company which thinks it can get consumers interested in ordering a 3D-printed figure of themselves and have it delivered at their doors. The company has four 3-D scanning booths in different locations throughout the world – Dusseldorf, Tokyo, Santa Monica Place in Los Angeles and one in New York City’s Chelsea Market. Godzilla: King of the Monsters has just released yet another teaser for the upcoming sequel that features the roar of one of the creatures in the film. This teaser is one of many recently unveiled glimpses of what to expect from Godzilla’s next outing, the follow-up to his titular Warner Bros. reboot in 2014. The Godzilla franchise is always evolving, but this particular incarnation of the character seems to be taking cues from the early Godzilla movies....

Google Play Music’s streaming music service has launched in India, undercutting Apple Music’s dramatically discounted subscription in the country, as both companies play the long game. India’s Economic Times reports that the service will cost Rs89/month ($1.38) for those signing up in the next 45 days, and Rs99/month ($1.53) afterwards. This compares with the Rs120/month ($1.86) cost for Apple Music. Google also seems to be working hard to include music from the region....

On most desktop platforms, when you put Chrome into fullscreen, you can access your tabs and the omnibox by moving your mouse to the top of the screen. Unfortunately, since last July, this simple gesture has not worked on Mac, but Google is finally getting around to fixing Chrome’s fullscreen mode. For the past few years, Google has been making some fundamental changes to the way Chrome works on Mac by switching away from their Cocoa-based code to an implementation called MacViews, which is designed to let new features require less work to bring to Mac....

Lauren Graham thinks more Gilmore Girls is risky. Fans have been calling for more episodes of the show since November, when a much-anticipated revival of the beloved mother-daughter dramedy arrived on Netflix. The Wall Street Journal is out today with a quick story on the rollout and reception of Gmail’s new Smart Reply feature, and it comes with a few interesting bits of information and anecdotes from random users and Google alike — one of which is particularly humorous… The piece notes the variety of responses that people have had to the feature. In Godzilla: King of the Monsters, humanity has found a way to communicate with the Titans using a device called the Orca - and it can also be used to awaken them. Universal Pictures releases a green band Good Boys trailer for the R-rated comedy starring Jacob Tremblay. Directed by Gene Stupnitsky, the film premiered on March 11 at South By Southwest, the same day that a red band Good Boys trailer released. In Good Boys, Tremblay stars alongside Brady Noon and Keith L. Williams as Max, Thor, and Lucas, respectively. After being invited to a kissing party, the boys conduct recon missions with a drone, primarily to understand how proper kissing works....

We’ve covered Google Docs in the past when they added Drawing mode and Translation, but this is a whole new ball game. It’s not anything huge like Skydrive, but it’s Google branded and works with anyone who has a GMAIL account (which is most people.) If we’re lucky, this could be the first step towards a “gDrive” or at least Google equivalent to Skydrive. It’s always been frustrating attempting to upload things to Google Docs, only to receive an “incompatible file type” message....

Locate on the map where you want your story to begin, point a marker on that location, and describe the following places as you embed other photos and videos.
